We collaborated closely to develop the characters and after nailing down the style, I illustrated the scenes and designed the book’s layout for print, making sure the visuals were fun and easy for young readers to dive into.
We opted for kraft paper to keep things eco-friendly, which meant fine-tuning the colors to work with the darker material. This project was a great reminder that adjusting your design to fit the medium is key to delivering a product that not only looks good but also stays true to its values.
I’m thrilled with the result! Your attention to detail and ability to capture the emotion of a text and translate it into drawings made all the difference. I’m already looking forward to our next work together!
