A virtual tour to the Portuguese factories and showrooms of a global leader in child bike seats and motorcycle accessories.

Context

This project set out to design an immersive Virtual Reality experience for the Polisport Group – a global leader in child bike seats and motorcycle accessories. The goal was to create a digital showroom and factory tour that captured the innovation and scale of Polisport’s operations.

My role focused on the visual and interaction design of the entire VR experience. From defining the tour’s interface to shaping how products are explored virtually, our goal was to blend storytelling with function, bringing Polisport’s physical presence into the digital realm.

The challenge was to design a user interface that could guide visitors seamlessly through a 360º panoramic tour of Polisport’s facilities and 3D product stands.

We grounded the design experience around the concept of the bike rider – bringing that spirit into navigation, interactivity, and motion. This narrative helped bring consistency across UI components such as buttons, scroll bars, and transitions.

The interface was built to be immersive yet intuitive and user-friendly, blending panoramic photography with layered UI to enrich the experience without overwhelming it.

Results & LEarnings

The final product was an inspiring fusion of storytelling and technology – one that successfully showcased Polisport’s manufacturing excellence and product innovation in a fully digital format.
